Alexandria Coursol, Post-Doctoral Intern
Alex is a post-doctoral intern; she received her masters degree in counseling psychology and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in counseling psychology at the University of St. Thomas (in Minneapolis, MN). Alex is passionate about helping adolescents, young adults, and adults overcome emotional, behavioral, intellectual, and spiritual barriers that stand in the way of living life to its fullest potential. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and family systems facing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, abortion, women’s issues and men’s issues. Alex views faith as an integral component to the healing and therapeutic process and integrates this perspective in the counseling process. Alex works collaboratively with clients to help them gain self-awareness and insight by providing a supportive and caring environment, while also challenging clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. In addition to therapy, Alex also specializes in psychological and psychoeducational assessment.
