Anne Boris, Doctoral Intern
Anne received her master’s degree in psychology and is working toward her doctoral degree in school psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. As a parent of three children with learning differences, Anne knows the struggles that families can have in understanding and supporting their children. Her areas of expertise include evaluation and assessment of learning and developmental disorders including dyslexia, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder; building social/emotional skills for children, adolescents, and teens; anxiety, depression, trauma and grief counseling; and play therapy. Anne brings empathy and understanding to families, and she is passionate about helping children, adolescents, young adults, and adults discover their own strengths, talents and what is working well for them. She believes that everyone is a work in progress, and she aims to support her clients in ways that help them find their own version of success, while incorporating faith as an integral component to the healing and therapeutic process.
