My Mental Health Self Care Tip is a quote from Anne Lamott:
“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.” — Anne Lamott.
Also, be kind always. You never know what someone is going through.
The opportunity to provide faith-based counseling inspires me because it enables me to consider the whole person in my counseling. I can serve people spiritually as well as mentally. I can live out the message from Mother Teresa to “spread love wherever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.”
